Our Initiatives

Our organization currently has two initiatives that we are working on a podcast to give free advice to students and a monthly newsletter that highlights internship, program, and scholarship opportunities.

Our Mission

CT GAP is a student-led nonprofit organization focused on promoting equity within education by providing free opportunities to low-income Connecticut students.

Recent News

“No one wants to see poor kids footing the bill for the pandemic, but that is the path Connecticut is on,” said Dr. Thomas Kane, Faculty Director of the Center for Education Policy Research at Harvard University and one of the study’s co-authors. “With federal relief dollars drying up, state leaders must ensure the remaining dollars are used for Summer 2024 and for tutoring and after-school next year.”

We have two teams--the operations team and the media team. While the operations team focuses on managing programs, the media team works on regularly updating our social media pages with programs and new internships. You do not have to be a CT resident to join!
